Maricopa County, Arizona Recording Fees

Recording a deed in Maricopa County costs about $30 and a mortgage about $30 (a flat $30.00 per complete document regardless of page count), per the Maricopa County Recorder's fee schedule, effective 2019-07-01. Arizona standardized recording fees statewide effective July 1, 2019 under A.R.S. Sec. 11-475 (as amended 2018): every county recorder in Arizona, including Maricopa, charges a flat $30.00 per document, which folds in what used to be separate page-count fees, indexing fees, reference fees, return-mail fees and the Affidavit of Real Property Value fee. This is a state-set uniform rate, not a Maricopa-specific figure. Map recording fees are unaffected (A.R.S. Sec. 11-481(C)).
