Recording fees are set by state statute (Fla. Stat. Sec. 28.24) and are uniform in every Florida county, not set locally by Duval County. Sec. 28.24(13): $5.00 for the first page, $4.00 for each additional page, for any instrument recorded, indexed, and filed. Sec. 28.24(13)(d) adds a Public Records Modernization Trust Fund surcharge of $1.00 for the first page and $0.50 for each additional page, on top of the base fee.
